Custom playing card factory visit in Guangzhou, China

On the morning of 3 September 2026, THRIWA welcomed a business partner from Africa to our card manufacturing facility in Guangzhou, China. The visit moved well beyond a standard introduction: it gave both teams time to examine the details behind a custom card project, see production in person and align on the next stage of cooperation.

During the production-floor tour, the visiting partner reviewed printed playing-card sheets and the workflow behind consistent card production.
Visit at a glance: The discussion covered custom card materials, finishing options, artwork execution and the quality checks that support repeatable production for international card projects.

Turning a card concept into a production plan

The first conversation focused on the client’s product goals and the needs of their local market. Rather than treating customization as a list of options, the THRIWA team worked through how material choice, surface finish and artwork details affect the final feel and presentation of a deck. The discussion applied equally to Custom Playing Cards, card games, promotional decks and other paper-based game-card projects.

For a custom card order, small decisions matter. Card stock influences handling and durability; finishes influence touch, glare and perceived value; and production-ready artwork helps protect the intended design once it reaches the press. Our OEM/ODM process helps turn those decisions into a clear route from sample approval to volume production.

A close look at card printing and quality control

The visitor then toured the production floor to see the work behind the specification. From the automated printing equipment described in our Factory Capabilities to the quality checkpoints reflected in our Certifications, the visit made the manufacturing process tangible. Printed sheets, registration, color appearance and the handling of finished components were all part of the on-site conversation.

For buyers sourcing custom playing cards or game cards internationally, a factory visit can answer questions that a quotation alone cannot: how a supplier manages consistency, how product decisions are communicated to production, and how the team responds before a design becomes a finished deck. This is why on-site review remains valuable even in a digital-first sourcing process.

From confidence to an order

Following the visit and technical discussions, the client placed a purchase order with THRIWA. The order marks the shift from an initial conversation to active cooperation and creates a practical foundation for future work in the international card market.

THRIWA is grateful for the trust placed in our team. We look forward to supporting this project with clear communication, disciplined production and the same attention to detail shown during the factory visit.
